Privacy Policy
We aim at making the use of reusable cups as simple as possible. When it comes to data protection, we want to make communication as simple as possible. This website contains information on how we process your data – on our website, from (potential) clients or suppliers and from applicants. Also, we explain your rights with respect to your personal data. If you have other questions, please feel free to contact us.
Website
Our website is based on encrypted connections, and we use this for advertising, communicating with you and handling orders. Single advanced functions, e.g. file uploads and embedded maps/videos, require cookies and JavaScript.
We also include several Google services on our website, whereby these services process data in the US. For more information, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy.
On our contact page, we use Google Maps to provide an interactive map for planning the drive. Google Maps evaluates the map function use.
To present our products in a lively manner, we embed our own YouTube videos which contain no cookies. If you are logged on to YouTube, they store cookies nonetheless and assign to you the visit on our website.
Ordinary operation
When accessing our website, our web server logs the time of the access, the address and the IP address of your terminal. Most browsers are set in a way so that they also transmit the browser type/version, the operating system and the referrer URL. Only your internet provider is able to identify your connection and, consequentially, you based on the time and the IP address. We do not evaluate these web server logs, but we only use them to monitor ordinary web server function and, if need be, to understand attacks. Only the IT department and our web host have access to this.
Usage analyses
By employing Google Analytics, we want to evaluate access to our website and optimise advertising. We use JavaScript and cookies for such analyses. If JavaScript was activated, we ask for your consent to such analyses by using Google Analytics. For so long as you did not consent to this, we transmit no analysis data to Google.
Google Analytics stores cookies and transfers collected usage data to Google. We activated IP anonymisation so that your IP address is shortened before transmission. Based on this data, Google prepares statistics for us concerning website use and other services. Your IP address will not be combined with other data collected by Google.
Analyses are legally based on point (a) of Art. 6(1) GDPR. Only Marketing department staff have access to such analysis data. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting our cookies. This way, data transmission to Google is prohibited.
Contact form; newsletter
We collect data through our forms, whereby we also indicate the purpose. Data processing is legally based on point (b) of Art. 6(1) GDPR. If you contact us by email or by using the contact form, information you provide will only be saved for processing your enquiry and for possible subsequent questions. Should this lead to offers or orders, the data will be stored on our CRM (→ Sales).
When subscribing to newsletters, data you provided will only be used for the newsletters and not be transmitted to third parties. We log newsletter subscriptions, the delivery of our confirmation emails and the receipt of requested answers. You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each newsletter.
Web shop
You may create a client profile. Data collected on the shop will be transmitted to our CRM (→ Sales). You may change/erase your profile data in the shop at any time, whereby these changes will not be automatically transferred to the CRM.
Sale/Hiring and Purchase
In the B2B business, initial contacts are established in different ways: we receive contact data from organisers, we talk to you at trade shows or you refer to us. In this context, we receive contact data from persons to contact for our (potential) clients and suppliers. This is legally based on point (f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR.
As a final consumer, we receive your data from your query. This is legally based on point (b) of Art. 6(1) GDPR. We transmit required data (name, address, date of birth) to Creditreform to check your credit standing. This is legally based on point (f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR.
Only Procurement and Sales department staff have access to such contact data which we use to process your queries/our contracts, and we erase any contact data only if you request this.
Your rights
You have a right of access and of rectification with regard to your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, request the processing to be restricted or your data to be erased or complain with a data protection supervisory authority at any time and without fulfilling any formal requirements.
