Cup Concept brings reusable cups to the stadium experience of the Starbulls Rosenheim

After the pandemic, the Starbulls Rosenheim started a new season with around 4000 spectators per game. Single use cups were not practical under these conditions. Thin material, impractical cups and increasing sustainability requirements created additional challenges.

Reusable cups for fans and stadium operations

Cup Concept took on the role of advisory partner from the very beginning. Together, processes were analyzed, resources were reviewed and the appropriate cup size was selected. 15000 cups cover double game days and loss quantities. Delivery, storage, collection and washing service ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Efficient handling on game days

Two runners supply the storage area and sales stands during the game and collect used cups. The deposit system operates cashless via the stadium card system. Issues with change are eliminated, sales are accelerated and staff can focus on service.

Fans delighted, waste reduced

The Super Cup 0.5 l impresses with stability, easy transport and versatile design. Six designs feature fan favorites, players and the mascot. Fans can carry up to four cups in one hand at the same time. The cups also serve as souvenirs and are signed by the players. Waste volume has decreased significantly. Around 40 percent was saved after the first weekend alone.

Making sustainability visible

The changeover was positively received in the city and the region. The Starbulls impressively demonstrate how a modern club can take responsibility without compromising the event atmosphere. Use at events, youth games and merchandising campaigns is planned.
